Trade show season is opening soon! Just thinking about it puts a smile on my face. I adore going to trade shows: the people, the vendors, the classes, and the driving. Yes, the driving. I love to drive and think it’s a treat to travel two days to the Atlanta Pet Fair. In fact, I have been known to break out in song.
Groom & Kennel Expo
Groom & Kennel Expo returns to Pasadena, California for another exciting weekend of seminars, competition, and trade show. Barkleigh will host the event at the Pasadena Conference Center from February 20 to 23, 2014.
PetQuest 2016
This past June saw another record setting year for PetQuest. Total attendance was up 13% for a total of 1,469 attending groomers. This year also saw 76 different groomers competing, making it the most contest participants in the show’s history. PetQuest took place June 23rd-26th at the Roberts Center in central Ohio. The Roberts Center is known to be a very dog friendly hotel / convention facility.

For the past several years, I have been invited to host and emcee the Fall Festival for my home show at the NEPGP. It has been an honor and so much fun. It has also been an eye-opener to be privy to how hard the board members of this organization work all year leading up to the show and then the show itself.

Celebrate 25 Years of Groom Expo
The Hershey Lodge and Convention Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania, will once again welcome nearly 5,000 groomers and pet care professionals through its doors for Groom Expo, the world’s largest grooming show. Celebrating its 25th anniversary, Groom Expo will feature a bustling trade show, world class education, and GroomTeam-sanctioned grooming competitions in addition to special events like the Barkleigh Honors Awards. The All American Grooming Show will return to The Westin Chicago North Shore in Wheeling, IL, from August 15–18, 2013. Following the show’s 40th annual event in 2012, founder Jerry Schinberg sold the show to Barkleigh Productions.

PBD Expo West
Since last year’s Pet Boarding & Daycare West expo was such a success, we decided to do it again! The Expo returns to the same location again this year, at the Marriott Los Angeles in beautiful Burbank, CA. This year’s dates are May 2nd-5th. The Expo will feature new, industry leading speakers sharing their success secrets, fun events, and dozens of vendor booths for all of your boarding and daycare shopping needs!
Groom Expo West
Groom Expo West 2015 was a huge success with nearly 4,000 attendees, full classrooms, a bustling trade show, and exciting competitions. The Pasadena Convention Center was again a wonderful place for this event, in the heart of beautiful Pasadena, CA.

PetQuest returns to Wilmington, Ohio this June for the 2015 expo! Again, the expo will be taking place at the dog friendly Roberts Conference Center June 25th-28th 2015, with brand new seminars and certification courses, as well as the three day trade show.
