Monrovia, CA — On Thursday, March 6, 2014 it was announced that the World Pet Association (WPA) acquired the Atlanta Pet Fair.
The Atlanta Pet Fair is the largest event in the Southeast for the professional pet stylist offering a trade show and the largest grooming competition in the world.

Help Wanted Front Desk Frustration

Before I opened my own stationary pet salon, I used to daydream about what it would be like. I pictured myself caring for each dog as if they were my own. I pictured myself bathing and drying, scissoring and sculpting. The Not So Fine Art of Firing

Well, it happened. I had to fire an employee. I’ve had to do it only a few times over the last 20 years, thankfully. This firing was a little different than the prior situations, but firing someone is never pleasant.
